I had to laugh at a recent thread about tracking down a lost cell phone through the GPS function and associated app. LEOs combined forces to track down the culprit who had picked up the phone from the ground. But, of course, this was the LEOs phone that was lost. I don't think a call from John Q Citizen would have gotten the same level of attention.

Probably a very long shot, but you never know what gets a gang units attention. They normally are looking at tags for the messages; who's gonna get lit, who's moving into a territory, etc. Then again, this might be the straw. Gang banger's ranging into new turf that will effect tourist money's, like this state doesn't have enough money issues.

I had a stucco home paint-balled. Since paintballs are food coloring and vegetable oil, it easily came off with a sponge dipped in mild bleach water and quickly rinsing with a hose. The stucco did not lighten since I rinsed it off quickly and used a mild solution.
Paintballs were originally filled with real paint. Thank God the manufactures stopped using real paint, but only because they got sued for paint in the eyes, etc.
That looks like someone's initials. Find the person whose name matches the initials. What an idiot. They left a calling card.

Got tagged
Well, it could have been a parent. The majority of the parents i ran into in the final years of my coaching, and teaching were very capable of this kind of thing. Always took the side of their kids in any kind of trouble, and always blamed the teacher, or coach for the problem. Was at a campground once and two kids, who looked like teenagers were throwing rocks that were bouncing very close to my unit, i approached the parent and he saw nothing wrong with it because none had yet hit my MH. I remember while i was a teacher, that very few parents came to see me at Parent-Teacher conferences because i would tell them the truth about their kids, and they did not want to hear it. I always met with the few that i really did not need to see, as they were the right kind of parents. I know it sounds like i am down on Kids, and Parents, not all but most today fit into the catagory i have described. Been there where i experienced it daily. Rivrduk

Another product that will take paint off is Rain X. Squirt on a rag and rub lightly at first and harder if needed. Doesn't work on Tags by felt tip pens.

On Nov 1, our home and our trailer were tagged. We live in a nice area of town, but recently the crime has really gotten bad. Thankfully, we are moving this weekend. The tag came off the trailer easily, the stucco on the house - not so much. Still trying to get it off. Figure I have to repaint that area.

We were hit by a very large egg while driving under an overpass in Southern California. It hit the windshield so hard I thought it was shattered. Not only made a huge mess to clean up but we were driving blind at 55 miles per hour. I'm sure the kids were laughing like crazy but it could have been a disaster.

This won't work for everyone but... They make both digital and analog video cameras that can run up to 12 hours on one tape/memory card.
Of course some of them do it by shooting 10 seconds of video every 30 seconds, but still... That's a good run.. 8 hours on a single media is very common.
I know of cases where someone got tagged over and a over and a over again, or had their mail box damaged, or some other form of vandalism.
Set up a camera covering the area the vandals favored and got some very nice pictures of them doing the dastardly deed.
A few days later the brats proved they were upstand citizens (They were UP Standing Before the Judge) saying "We didn't do 'nutin Your honor it was somebody else that messed up his house"
Roll tape:
Oh, that's not YOU on that tape?
"ur,,, Well... ur.... Oh ****!"
And off they went 1: Clean up their mess and 2: Spend some quality time meditating on the wrongness of what they had done over at the detention center, where the girlfriend of one detainee whined to a TV reporter that they would not give her teenage boyfriend any smokes... (Minor in possession is a misdemeanor, So is providing, he's in jail now... She felt they should let him break the law WHILE in jail.. Right)
I add that just to show you how stupid some folks are.
NOTE: the reporter never caught on the fact that the inmates of the youth home smoking is a violation and never challenged the young lady on that fact. (IDIOT)

My first thought is a good ass whipping or shotgun ..... Then fortunately My cooler head prevails and I begin to think of the freedom that I have, and would be lost if I ever acted out my first instinct. Get it clean, report it, and move on, G

I am looking forward to singing Christmas Carols in the town plaza this season. Oooops, I forgot, that is also illegale.

Hi Chuck How was the trip?
The reason they lock it up is so they don"t shoplift it. There is a legal age to purchase. These S###heads don't buy the paint.

Campingman,
What a geat trip, 7,700 mile and not a hiccup. LA to Vermont down to Florida and I-10 back to LA.. Practically ate every oyster in Panacea, Florida. It was 2 1/2 months of fun. The only schedual we had was to stay ahead of the snow, which we did. I'm glad we did it. You never know what tommorow will bring.

I live in dread fear of this kind of vandalism here. We have our MH parked under a cover we had built at wifes mothers house, and she recently passed away and now no one is there. It would be a prime target. It is about a quarter of a mile from us in a good part of town, but that seems not to matter these days. I am going to put cameras up all around that see in the dark, and if it happens maybe we can see who did it. Rivrduk

I am surprised the judge didnt call them "upstanding kids of the community" and turn them loose. That is what one judge we have here did with two kids that robbed the Grandys Restaurant. Well, guess what? he is no longer the Judge. He got beat in the last election and i know that is what did it. Rivrduk
