Everyone talks about cost. I think customer service is just as important. What good is having cheap insurance if they will not pay?

What iam not seeing in people's post when they give their premium cost for the year is the replacement cost of the RV.
We purchased 3 toyhaulers at the same time and got approximately 51% msrp and insured them for total loss and premium was approximately $350.00 a year 1.5 years ago. I started thinking that the coverage was for 34k I could not replace the trailer for under 55k so I bumped the total loss coverage to 55k and now pay 650.00 a year. To me it's worth the extra money a year on a newer trailer. The trailer is paid off and I've seen minor accidents total trailers.

I have Citizens Insurance and I live in Michigan (one of the highest insurance costs in the country. I insure my home, my 3 vehicles and now, our new Travel Trailer. The additional cost for the trailer was around $147 annually, compared to some $300 for Good Sam coverage. I will say Good Sam had some really low deductibles and extras, but I went with Citizens. I believe my homeowners will cover any (or at least most) of any personal property the trailer coverage would not.

I carry an agreed amount on the boat. I have ACV coverage on the travel trailer.
