RV Insurance Quotes

I was hoping someone here could help.

We got ride of our MH and went back to a 5th wheel toy hauler. I expected my insurance to go down but unfortunately it did not. So, I will be shopping around for a new insurance carrier if I can get a lower rate and still have similar coverage.

When I picked up my current carrier it was from a website that you give your info to one time and they do all the shopping around for you. No multiple credit checks to lower your scores.

Would anyone here know that website?

If you added a truck + trailer when you got rid of the motorhome, the numbers are going wash. The truck still requires liability coverage and its own collision & comp, so no gain there. And the trailer still needs collision and comp too. No free lunch if you end up with the same number of motor vehicles and about the same [combined] value of them.

There are several agencies (brokers) that will get quotes for you form several possible insurers. Gilbert RV Insurance is one, Miller RV is another.

Ask the finance manager at a dealership, they know all the deals and will help you gladly, at least that's how I was.

Just run a search for rv insurance. rvainsurance.com offers multiple quotes.

Check with Good Sam...they use National General. When we went full time with our 5th wheel....they beat everybody else.

I have found that one of the yearly must do items when owning an rv is to spend a few moments and get new insurance quotes and compare these to your existing policy. It doesn't take much to realize that insurance companies are not your friend and are in the business to make money. Here are some of the ones that I use for yearly quotes.

I am in Canada so I know things are very different but my broker indicated that with permission they do a "soft" credit check which does not impact rates. I agreed and our rate dropped by over $250. I wonder if you have anything comparable? We have all our vehicles with one company at the moment but are blessed with a great broker. We didn't see a difference when we went from diesel F250 and 5th wheel combo to a motorhome.
