Soooo, what I'm reading here, is that the 'mag' is as empty as "I'm not happy if you're not happy"? Who coulda guessed?

Are you sure that quote isn't "We're not happy til you're not happy" ?

ditto
I too was extremely disappointed. I had subscribed to trailer life (I think it was called) then switched to the motorhome one when I decided I was eventually getting a motorhome. I will not subscribe again! Nothing but a rehash of camping world's free advertising magazine. What a shame...I really enjoyed the old magazine and the useful information

It felt like i was reading a chapter book.
Hate the new magazine..82pages. Miss the help section and technical articles. Won't be renewing my subscription in July.

my second issue just came and it didn't take five minutes to scan it as there was nothing of interest in it. i used to get trailer life. they at least had the technical forum, and one or two articles on equipment installations. plus they had ratings of various equipment. the new magazine has absolutely nothing similar. it looks like they think they can wow readers with glossy pictures and useless recipes. the renewal envelopes are showing up in the mail and it doesn't take more than a minute to get them into the trash can.
what is going to happen if the advertisers start to pull their ads?

My old motorhome subscription runs for another year, so that's how long I'll give it to get better. But so far I have no interest in this new magazine.

Agree
It's like the USA today version, but even worse. Too many "articles" per page. I felt like I was reading an airline magazine on a flight. No real substance. I found myself with ADD at one point not being sure what article to read. I won't be resubscribing.

It seems all the RV magazines have opted to have more paid advertising than information useful to RV'ers. I don't subscribe to any magazines anymore and if I do see something on the newsstand that is noteworthy, I may buy it for that one article (but it had better be noteworthy!). IMO, anything that Marcus puts out is not for the end user's benefit, but to benefit his business, only. Not a fan of CW, his RV magazine, or the way Gander is going. Just my thoughts.

I cancelled my subscription yesterday. Was due to expire in June. I got a 6 dollar refund coming. The lady on the phone had a lot of questions about my not subscribing to the new Magazine. I think I gave her an earful. She tanked me and said she would pass my thoughts up the line. What ever good that will do.
