RV Overnights
Looking for info about RV Overnights, from those that have used it, I tried Passport America a few years ago & just wasn't happy with it.

Know nothing about them.
The website looks a lot like Harvest Hosts in their concept. As with HH, only about a third of the locations have power hookups. Personally, I want a place with decent power so I can get a good night's sleep. And I find that I'm not tolerant of too hot or too cold conditions any longer as I gotten older.
Now personally, after several years on the road, I will use Passport America, if there is one along my route. I want easy access close to the highway I'm traveling, and a place where I can get in and out quickly.
We got lucky back in 2013, and purchased a lifetime Passport America for a very cheap price at Camping World during a bundle with lifetime Good Sam.
When making a booking, the first thing I ask any RV location after finding if my night(s) are available is "What discounts do you honor?"
I'm retired US Navy, AARP, FMCA, and a few other things. Almost always I can easily find some discount available. If not, I'll pay up to $50 for a decent full-hookup RV park.
If I use PA two nights a year, it pays for itself.
My son purchased a RV about 6 months ago. He's made two longish trips so far and used PA for six nights. That pays for PA.
Many people love Harvest Hosts, or Boondockers Welcome. Check both organizations. They especially like the experience of the out of the way locations.

Sometimes I wonder what happened to folks after I give them directions.

Passport America is probably the best for private RV parks. What is good for you depends on what you want in a parking facility. When the weather is cool enough to lotdock, I use the rvparky website, but can find many spots on my own. For hookups, usually electricity and a cheap cost is all I care about. Here is a list I made of cheap and free places for hookup parks.

You can add Utica Shale RV Park to that list. It's exit 208 on I-70 in Ohio. It's really cheap, but nothing but a gravel area. It's great for an overnight, or long term stay if you are working in the area. It has 50A full hookups available.
There is seldom anyone there so you put your cash or check in an envelope and drop it in the night deposit. IIRC, it's about $25 a night.

It seems the available options are limited. Many are also Harvest Hosts. Chuck

Info from web page
I looked at their website. The primary difference appears to be cost - buy it now and the current discount is locked in for life. When it goes away yearly cost is $50. There are only 300 venues as compared to 8000 for HH. There are a bunch of other services in addition to the venues. About 30% of the venues have power. A significant number allow multiple day stays. Those are a bit different than HH.
Sounds like a less expensive way to try the concept. Not sure it's better than HH, but since we found that arrangement lacking for us, trying at lower cost is worth considering if you are open to the concept.
We are lifetime Passport America members. IMHO it's better than HH, because all the CGs we have used had FHU sites.
The one value of HH may be the museums they have as hosts. If RV Overnights has those in their inventory of venues, it might be worth the $30/year membership fee. The $50/year fee = not so much.

An RV park has to charge less than $20 to be on the list.

Don't think I've ever come across one of those. Then again, we've not really gotten west of the Mississippi yet.
