From all the tags to my post about the RV park cost I have to add something.
Yes I know inflation will continue to make all things cost more. When we retired in 2000 our income was fine for what we wanted to do which was travel. I never guessed the cost of things would rise so fast. Now it’s getting tight as costs have risen way above our income increases.
We still travel but are careful choosing to where we go.
Thanks to all who commented on the original post. Very interesting things here.

Don't forget things like $15 an hour for McDonald's workers and the trickle down effect on what seasonal CG's will have to pay on young part time help. Obamacare certainly caused some price hikes. Every hurricane, forest fires, mud slides and any other type of natural disaster will impact insurance costs for all of us and I would guess more so for commercial coverage.

One more major factor. The RV industry reported 550,000+ units built in 2017 and project 600,000 for 2018. You think that 500,000 new camp sites were produced? Basic supply vs. demand. I read somewhere for every campsite in the US, there are 18 campers.

According to RV New, RV sales have increased over 35% since 2015. That is a lot of new campers out there.
