I ran into the town of Quartzsite yesterday afternoon. I've never seen it so busy. All of the gas stations had lines of 10-20 cars waiting in the road just trying to get onto the grounds. Stores were packed. Not sure where they're going, as the LTVA doesn't seem that crowded.

CGs are getting like hotels/motels....have to make a reservation. One of my pet peeves is many want full payment in advance, with virtually no cancellation policy.

Those inquiring minds deserve to see your paperwork.

We are snowbirds sitting in the Florida panhandle and our campground has never been this busy in the 9 years we have been coming here...Brand new trucks pulling brand new trailers and fivers and brand new A Class B Class and brand new C Class with the majority towing new toads...I think the younger gen have discovered they can mix business with pleasure working from their new homes on wheels....

Most of the extra RVs left the next day. Then filled up the next night. This has continued since Christmas. Lots of one nighters.

That’s ok. Don’t send the original. A copy would suffice.

You should see all the RV's heading south on I-75 here in the Tampa area.
So much traffic that there are slow downs in the southbound line and it is not yet the real Snowbird season.
Just glad all are coming to Florida to help support our local and state governments.
Regards,
JimB

What concerns me more.....why were you stepping outside to use the restroom.....making #1 in the woods?

Come on now. "Restroom" means a proper facility for the intended job. The proper phrase for what you are implying is "I'm going to check the weather".

In western days ladies used hotel restrooms and the men used the livery stable so they would often say I need to see a man about a horse.
