Trying to find a good quality patio rug. The last one I bought from Camper World (the PVC type) was "just OK" but, did not last as I expected. Has anyone found one that they would buy again ?

Check RVupgrades.com (they sponsor part of this forum) They are a supplier of "Carefree" mats that we used alot. We would buy one of these types again. They are vinyl and the water really does go thru it. Liked that at the beach when we had a really hard rain. No wet sand drug into MH.

We just ordered a Carefree Mat from PPL Motorhomes. We have had three CW mats disintegrate. One happened within 6 months and they replaced it. The other two start shedding poly in about 8 months and then disintegrate in about a year. We fulltime so we use them a lot. I hope the Carefree last longer, about twice the price, but they have a two year guaranty. Check back with me in 8 months.

I bought mine from RV Awning Mats and am very happy with it. I have a 9X12 and it works great and very easy to take car of. It is the plastc type weave product but has been holding up well. I clean it with my power sprayer and it looks like new. It also drys very fast as it will not hold water. I recommend them and will buy another when the time comes.

Jim we also have the PVC type we are on our 3rd one in 8 years, we get a new one with each upgrade. we still have the old ones. We out the oldest in the dogs pen and the other 2 togeather to cover the side of the camper. We found that if we clean it good after each outing and let it dry good then we don't have any real problems.

Lowes had a box of 10' X 14' indoor/outdoor carpet on clearance. We took it to the 5th, got a carpet needle, some heavy nylon thread and put a hem around the edge.
That was four years ago for a total sum of $2.00!
This thing has been flooded with mud, baked in intense sun & heat, frozen solid, draped over both hard and soft surfaces and had about every kind of camp chair leg you can think wear on it. And it just keeps taking it.
This stuff had to have been the lowest grade of I/O carpet that Lowes had but it has been great for camping.
