Fiver and P/U with truck trouble:

Interesting in that the owner called his insurance company for a flatbed. They negotiated with Plaza for a smaller truck and maybe a different drop off point. Several other learning issues in the video.

I don't think that the insurance negotiated for a smaller truck, I think that the towing told the insurance company that they would send a roll back for the Dodge and a tractor for the trailer and they would be paying for a medium and large truck, or they could send the right equipment capable of handling the job at a (relatively) small upcharge for the trailer.

If that owner had actually had a towing business in the past, he would have known that pulling whole units is nothing new and that d/c the drive shaft would protect the transmission.

We don't know the real answer as the financials get edited out. It seemed worth pointing out that the game changed somewhere so the topic would be here.

Here is another one of him picking up an interesting tag axle gasser with a Landol trailer. I wonder what the tow cost is from Palm Springs to Yuma... The reason he cannot do it may be his license but is also that he needed to be back in school on Monday. I'm keeping an eye out for one where he picks up a DP in a campground. That might be on the old pulled list.
