RV Roadside Coverage Question

I have Coach-Net currently and the renewal is coming up next month. The dealer who sold the original policy suggested an Adventure RV plan, vice Coach-net. I haven't found any in-depth information on this company.
Anybody have experience with them?

I chose Coach-net because they tow to QUALIFIED repair facilities, not closest.

I have a Sprinter based unit.

I have been with CoachNet for 13 years. I have used them several times and Iíve always been happy with their response and service. Thereís never been a reason for me to change.

Thanks for the info. The only reason I looked around is the renewal is about 50% more than the initial year cost.

I just renewed my Coach-Net policy. No change in premium from the past three years. It may have been a deal the dealer got from Coach-net for the first year.

I asked when I renewed about the change of hands and they told me the coverage is identical.
I do have a travel trailer so it's possible the costs have gone up for the Sprinter.
A search for Adventure RV came up blank. Ask the dealer who the underwriter is for the policy.

I also just renewed with CoachNet, and it was the same as last year. As to your Sprinter, CoachNet will tow to an authorized MBS service center where others will not. Having a Mercedes, authorized repair centers can be far and few between.

Are you talking about the Adventure Club membership from the RV Adventure Network, which includes roadside assist as one of it's "benefits"? If so, my first question would be whether I have any use for the other benefits/services that I would be paying for. And the price, of course.

Surely Adventure Club is contracting with an actual service for the roadside stuff, so find out who it actually is, e.g. Allstate Motor Club, Saferide, etc.

An aside; if you have a Progressive insurance MH policy, towing to the nearest qualified repair shop is included.

Thanks for the responses.
I have looked around and very sparse information is available. The price is about half of Coach-net, but the lack of specifics concerns me.
I'll just renew with Coach-Net

We are on our second year with Coach-Net, used it once and very responsive. First year was around $250 but renewal was $169, worth it. Had Good Sam for 7 years used it twice, they struggled to find help and both times we had to front the cost and then file for reimbursement. Hope you never need it but great when you do.

Newmar 2015

P.S. - I was going to mention, I bought mine online not through a dealer. I opened an account when I first purchased it. Can't say but if you go through a dealer do they get a piece of the action - I think they call that value added.

Just like any service contract for anything. The dealers probably do get a kickback if they sell it. Same as financing through the dealer.
When we bought my wife's car, we signed for dealer financing when we first made the deal to get the ball rolling and lock in the price. When we picked up the car, we handed the dealer a check for the agreed upon price. They weren't real happy, BUT!

Mystery Solved

After reading several other threads, I know why the costs increased.
Coach-Net dropped their rate for Class B & C motorhomes. They now have Motorized and Towable rates. I'm moving to a different provider with similar coverage and reputation.
