Rv Roof Leaking

I have a 1999 Class A 37 foot diesel. It has had repeated leaks, mainly around skylight over shower. It has supposedly been repaired several times by several people. It was recently re-leveled and last heavy rain caused more leak, and extended ceiling stains quite a bit. Roof is soft in that area. I know the 'best' thing to do is fully replace entire roof, but value of MH really doesn't warrant the expense. I full time but am stationary. Hope to get on road in next couple of months. I just bought Eternabond tape. Will that help if used just about everywhere on roof? I would like to keep MH going for at least 3 years.
I am looking for suggestions on what to do. Can you do partial roof replacement and remove rotted plywood near skylight? What's the chances of the roof falling in? LOL.
Thanks!
Ellen

Eternabond tape will fix just about any leak as long as you apply it correctly. That however is a lot of work as everything needs to be clean and dry when being applied. You also need to use a roller to get it down good then calk the open edges. Be advised that Eternabond also will not stick to certain types of calking so you may want to test or remove calk before applying.

I applied the 4 inch tape around everything protruding on my roof about three years ago and it is holding great. I went over the skylight about two inches and also covered each corner wherever there were cracks. You really don't notice it from inside but I suppose it does cut out some light .

What would you suggest to clean the roof? It has flex seal on it. Can you use a scrub brush? Also, where can I get a good roller locally? Thanks again!

The roller I used was a wooden roller used normally to roll wallpaper seams. Nothing special about it. A good brush on a pole should clean most of it with a small scrub brush for closeup work.

I washed everything down with Awsome cleaner from the dollar store using a long handled car wash brush and rinsed well. For a roller I used https://www.amazon.com/POWERTEC-7101...er+roller+tool
but any hard roller will work.
