RV Satellite

Wasn't sure where to post this. So here goes. Removed a King-dome 9702-33 from my Class C Dutchman. Don't need it. Are the old satellite dishes worth anything? Just curious!

Thank you!

In my experience, nothing is so useless as old video/audio technology. However, doesn't mean someone isn't looking for one. 2006 model is now 11 years gone by--way too much new/better stuff to choose from, might not even be compatible with newer receivers.
Doesn't cost anything to put it on Craigslist. Might even try to see if one is for sale on eBay to see if there is any value in it.
Good luck.

I just bought a used King portable (aka Tailgater) . Couldn't get it to work properly. The King website had info on a software upgrade, downloaded it to a thumb drive, loaded it into the USB port in the unit, and now it works. So, you may be able to upgrade your unit before you sell it. Check with King.

I would put it on Craigslist for a few weeks for $100 OBO. See if you get any interest.

I may be interested in buying, my 9702 stopped working, I have purchased a Kingdome portable which works great, I would like to repair my roof top dish King Dome told me it was not worth repairing. Can you quote me a price for the dish shipped to Baton Rouge La.
Thank you

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I would advertise it in the Classifieds (free) here on IRV2, and on Craigslist! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
