It's hard to imaging something harder to steal than a key-started diesel coach. There is no steering interlock. You can easily unplug the starting switch, plug in another, and just let it dangle while you use a handy pocketknife or screwdriver to start the engine, all from the driver's seat.

I often think the best chance of getting it back if were stolen would be some big symbol on the roof that was easy to see by air.

The notion of a hidden kill switch has a lot going for it!

It pretty simple to wire in a relay to control something like the fuel pump and have it activate with a hidden reed switch and magnet or just a hidden momentary switch.
This one is advertised for Jeep but it can work on any vehicle, it's just that this one comes with specific Jeep TJ instructions: https://offroadonly.com/shop/other/o...errent-system/

All one needs to do is study your wiring diagram and figure out how to make it work on your vehicle.
