RV Storage/Remote owner

We live in Alaska and intend to spend summers here. We are in the process of buying a 36' 5th wheel to be used about 4 months a year in America. We have grandkids in the Corvallis, Oregon area so there is natural gravity to spend some time there and it would be logical to store the RV and diesel truck near there.

For other remote RV owners, do you seek covered storage, secure outside storage, or find it better to buy a RV lot/spot?

If I were you, definitely get covered storage. It rains and snows alot almost anywhere in the PNW except maybe in the high desert. The increased cost will be balanced by no weather-related leaks and deterioration.

Puttin, good advice. I have sent emails to several businesses to inquire about covered storage availability.
