RV Tech Course

Has anyone reviewed the RV Maintenance and Repair Home Study Course for RV Owners that is sold on a thumb drive for around $400?

I have not and don't understand why someone would. You can usually find detailed repair videos for your specific RV and problem on YouTube.

You can also by general RV repair manual online in book form for reference. I purchased one sometime ago and for the most part this book has covered everything I have needed to work on a 5th wheel. I believe most repair books can be purchased for under $20.

No way I'd even think about it. A person should be pretty much be good to go if he or she is somewhat mechanically inclined. The construction and the systems built into an RV are not all that complicated. And as you mentioned, a person can find detailed remove/install and repair information on just about anything RV related on the web.

I second the YouTube suggestion. You’d be amazed how detailed and specific videos there are for any RV topic. Mechanical, tips, hacks, campground recommendations and on and on. I just built my Fiat 500 toad up using nothing but YouTube, modified my RV air braking system to incorporate the toad’s. YouTube is your friend.

YouTube....hit or miss with good accurate info

I prefer MFG Service Manuals which are FREE and downloadable

Brand/Model goggle 'service manual' download/print out/place in 3 ring binder for your own specific owners manual

Old-Biscuit is a better source than that, and he's free!
