You don't have one for us. We use our RV as a home while we work or play tourist (beats staying in a motel). So our time varies from weekend camping trips to trips that can last for months.

We use our RV as a summer home at the ocean, a weekend camp for motorcycle events, and for vacations. Oh it also doubles as the guest house for family and freinds. Unfortunatly we have to make do with more three day weekends than weeks. Scotty.

Mike; I know this is a bit off topic. But we drove from Baton Rouge to Houston and it rained most of the way. When we got here it was really raining. Put the poncho on hooked up AC and the cable will do the water and sewer tomorrow. Then we got inside where it was dry and warm. Couldn't have done that in the pop-up. This is the life.

RV Wizard

Please think about a redo of your poll & add a Snowbird choice. For example, we are in Texas for 4 months and then will travel from our home for the ramainder of the year - we may average 7 to 8 months total...

Were not Fulltimers but we stay on road over half of the year. Workamping for about 3/4 months at KOA's, then short trips from home base in SC. Spend HOT SC summers in New England, cool/cold Jan. Feb. in Florida.

I voted "Fulltimer", but we've only owned ours since June '05. I'm 100% VA disabled (from Agent Orange in RVN) so doctors' appointments keep us busy. We're hoping to do some extensive traveling very soon. We're going to the National RV Jamboree at Lake Skinner in March and then going down to the Tombstone area.

Wish I was a full-timer, but as soon as we can get 'er de-winterized in early April, we're off.. for mostly w/e getaways, but we camp right thru November hunting season.

We just got back from a two week trip to Port Aransas, TX. We stayed at the Island Resort RV park. $110.00 a week but if you stay a month it is only $285.00. Not a bad price to be on the beach for the winter.

The weather was perfect and the fishing was good. Eat lunch at the Big Fisherman resturant in Rockport, TX on Tuesday. $1.75 for all you can eat chicken fried steak or chicken livers or chicken gizzards. Very good food.

Also eat breakfast at the San Juan mexican resturant on Port Aransas for $1.99. Yummy!

We are staying home for about three weeks and then off again to Port Aransas for another two or three weeks.
