Rv wont starrt...

While trying to do a pre season check of our RV checking the exterior lights , we tested turned signals , brake lights. Started the RV and checked back up lights.

Turned the rv off ..

Turned the headlight switch on and checked the runners , then checked the headlights , turned off the headlight switch

Tried to turn on the RV . no power..

All im getting is one click when you turn the key , no starter clicking , no turn over .

Took the volt meter out and im reading good power on the battery (12.6) and my disconnects are on and functional ..

Just cant get it to turn over .

Any suggestions would help

it was running great this week when I took it on a pre season drive a few times , just cant figure out how the headlights being tested caused it to loose all power .

( this RV is my learning curve , im clueless when it comes to mechanics )

Thanks anyone and every one so far .

Mine does that when cables need to be cleaned and/or tightened.

Do you have an odb reader? We just got one and has tons of useful gauges but if your engine is throwing an error code, it would tell you whats wrong. We got the scangauge II and was very easy to install. I think there are some others out there too but this is the most known.

I picked up the OBDLink MX+ and its great. You use your phone or tablet and can customize a dashboard. It also reads and resets codes. It logs your data so you can view it later, including maps. So you can see your mpg or hp used to climb that big hill.

Definitely get the MX+ version as it works best on Bluetooth.
