RV world definitions

I wish people would learn the proper RV World language. It seems everyone assumes that an RV is a Motorhome. This is not correct.

RV = Recreational Vehicale.

Below are types of RV's

MH = Motor Home.
TT = Travel Trailer
TH = Toy Tauler
5 ver = 5th wheel
PU = pop up
AF = Aframe pup up

Please call your MH a motorhome.

If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, quacks like a duck. It's a duck.

I forgot to add. A surge protector and an EMS are not the same things. Each does a different job.

Did you forget MC = motor coach?

I feel that if you drive it, it is a motorhome.

My Class C Motor Home is a vehicle that I recreate in.

So it is indeed an RV.

Merriam-Webster backs this up.

Definition of recreational vehicle
:a vehicle designed for recreational use (as in camping)

Of all the things I had to worry about today (and the rest of my life) this was not one of them.

The point is when someone asked a question the responder should not have to play 20 questions trying to understand what RV the question is being asked about. I for one have no experience with "Motor Homes" and try to avoid getting involved in all their stupid high-end technology that the average RV owner doesn't understand or even need.

My 1996 RV (Class C) is far from high-end technology. Almost all the systems in it are the same as any RV or Trailer except for the cab and motor of course.

Why all the hate on RVs?

Thumbs down

Speaking of stupid high-end technology that no one else needs .... I love my coach. He's very good with all the small fry football players. Seems meaningless .
