Simular thing happened here in Tampa Bay a short time ago. I hope some radical group is not doing some R&D for some larger event.

What was Rosie O saying about fire not being able to melt steel and cause a collapse?

A similar incident happened a very few years ago in Bridgeport, CT where Interstate 95 was damaged by a tanker fire. It took a while to fix that but this new incident is much worse.

We have freeway ramps shut down at I-10 and US59 in Houston due to a tanker fire last Friday that took the driver's life and damaged the concrete and structural steel beams. It will be weeks (for one ramp) and months (for the other) before repairs are complete.

Well the truck driver did basically "walk away". There was no one else injured either...

I didn't know that she held credentials in either metallurgy or civil engineering. Nevertheless, I've worked in the oil and gas industry for over 33 years and been associated with it my entire life. Anyone who has seen a compressor station fire knows that the steel building girders will bend and sag like licorice sticks due to the heat.
