Forgot to mention...the wet roadway is raw sewage flowing to my unit......lol.....and didn't get offered another site...

Bob, waterfront sites are usually at a premium. They didn't add a surcharge to your bill?

If it was KOA, there would have been additional charges for a waterfront site.

I used to wear gloves when at the dump station but in 6 years of RVing, I have never gotten anything on my hands. As someone else said, the yucky stuff is inside the hose, not outside. I don't wear gloves anymore but I wash my hands with sanitary wipes when I am done. I keep a bottle of them in the storage bin where I store the sewer hose. I don't wear gloves when I use the restroom so I don't see the need to at the dump station.
