I what I've read on the worlds largest encyclopedia, the warmest weather is near the ocean. The temperature drops as you leave the coast, the further inland the colder it gets over the winter.

I am concerned with freezing the pipes.

X2 on Lake Aire near Charleston. A little on the small side, but a cute little park. Spent a couple of nights there last month. They even allowed for washing of the RV on the site (with permission). Ducks and geese in the little pond waddle their way back and forth to the bathhouse area several times a day. One neighbor did report that the bathhouse left a bit to be desired, but I use my own facilities. Fire rings and picnic tables at every site.
