I tried to buy my current truck from an out of state GMC dealer using a cashiers check from my local bank, they didn't want it. Out of frustration, I waited an extra 6-8 weeks and ordered the truck from a local dealer who gladly took my personal check. The security and confidence in cashiers checks has been seriously impugned by these over seas scammers.

I recently sold my Goldwing. I met the buyer in a branch of HIS bank. He withdrew the funds from his account and the bank drew up a cashiers check. Fortunately for me, the buyer was in the same state as me. But that was the only way I would sell it to him unless he brought a wad of cash with him.

I got the same email for my brakebuddy I'm selling...You should play with them and make them send you a rubber check that is thousands more than the item being bought..I am a scam baiter and have a large collection of rubbery checks made out to a variety of payees including "Dischek Snogood" and "I.B.Skamminyew "
