DW has used one for a few years. Very handy, has a good range. It's quick to dis-assemble and folds to fit easily in a cargo compartment. We do have a 2nd battery. But even after a couple hours of constant use there was no need to switch or re-charge. It works well on sidewalk or paved area but not very good on grass or rough surface.

Thank's, that model say's it has a 3 in. ground clearance, does that seem good enough for a stone surface?
Why does it not do well on grass and rougher surface's?
Do you have the 3 or 4 wheeled one, if 4 do you like the way it steer's as far as the radius?
If 3 is it stable enough?
Thx, Mike

3 wheel model, turns easily, at slow speed will almost turn about the rear wheels. It works hard on grass, the grass tends to have pockets or soft spots which affect rolling resistance and stability. It does have a high cg and narrow wheelbase, while it will climb or descend a fairly steep incline, turning around on ramp may be a concern.. It has no suspension so a cobblestone or very rough surface would be jarring.
Within those limitations it is very convenient and easy to use and control.

Hi 04 keystone,
We have had this scooter for 5 years. The wife used it. If you purchase one, get the 4 wheel model. It is very stable. Next is to get the heavy duty, long range or whatever they call it battery. There is the standard battery and then there is the long range battery. It is a bit heavier than the standard battery. However, after a full day at DW, the battery gage was well into the good (green) range on the meter. No matter where we go, we've never made a dent in the battery power. It's like the bunny, it just keeps going and going and going.

Lastly, I do not know where you are. My wife's scooter may be up for sale. She is having her knees replaced and may no longer need it. PM me if you are interested.

Bought a power lift off of Craigslist and installed it on the back of my toad. Worked very well, I also have dealt with Spinlife.com, an Oregon based company with satisfactory results for scooters, wheelchairs, ramps and the like.
