Screws

Hi All,

Maybe a silly question, but I am not sure and will be busy getting her ready for travel this weekend. What types of screws should I use for the following projects:

1.) Hanging new curved curtain rod.

2.) Hanging new corner soap dispenser.

3.) Hanging anything on the walls inside the RV. (ie. pictures, key hooks)

I have a 2005 Fleetwood Southwind.

V/r,
Carla

I might recommend Molly fasteners. Take the articles you want to hang to the hardward store and let them know that you want to attach them to a luan wall board and they will provide you with the right size. Get some screws that will match the Molly heads in the event that you hit a stud. Good luck and keep us posted.

Smile 3M picture hangers are great

3M has picture hangers that are fantastic ... they require no drilled holes and work great ... they are available in Lowes, WalMart, Target, etc

They work kind of like velcro ... one part fastens to the wall ... the other part fastens to the back of the picture ... after the necessary time delay for bonding you simply press the picture onto the wall ... the two parts "intertwine" and hold the picture in place

There are different sizes for different weight of the picture ...
