Going to sell my 2021 Keystone Passport SL 229rk.

A couple of minor things for me to fix but the more significant one is the slide. It rubs and scratches the floor as it comes back in. I put down felt tabs to protect the floor from more scratches, but it needs to be fixed properly.

Took the trailer to my local Camping World this past spring to fix a couple of things under warranty including the slide. Actually had an ok experience. I bought the trailer three hours away at another dealer, just didn't want to make the drive.

CW said they had to get warranty approval to adjust the slide. I was within the 90 day window for warranty adjustments to doors, slides, etc.

Of course never heard back from them and needed to carry on with my camping plans. Anyway, selling now and the trailer is still under warranty (Bought Dec 2021).

Finally the advice needed question - should I leave as is and inform potential buyers of the slide issue or get a mobile tech to fix at storage? I've done some research on do it yourself, but seems it's half mechanical and half art to getting it right.

Many years ago we had trouble with a slideout in a new t5th wheel trailer. The dealer told us to take it to the factory for repair/adjustment; saying their technicians did not work on slide mechanisms enough to know what to do when.
We did go to the factory, and when I asked the service manager there about what I was told concerning the dealer techs not knowing, he said that was right.
Bottom line I would just tell prospective buyers the slide drags on the floor if/when they ask, and price your TT accordingly.

I actually wound up using them all the time after the factory replaced the mechanical workings for the slide room.

I say that you should get it fixed. I believe that you are severely reducing your pool of potential buyers by trying to sell a 2 yr old trailer with a screwed up slide.

I would not even look at a two year old trailer with slide problems. Call a mobile or independant RV repair shop and get it fixed. The dealer or factory is obviously not going to fix it under warrenty. If you try to sell it as-is you will take a big hit on the final price you sell it for.
If a buyer sees a problem that has not been corrected he will wonder what else needs repaired.
