Septic safe Vs standard RV toilet paper
I went out to pick up some RV toilet paper and while walking through the store I noticed "septic safe" toilet paper over where the regular stuff is.
Septic safe is a much better deal, (and looks like it's always in stock) so I'm just wondering if anyone has used it, and has it caused any issues.

Never used RV paper in 10 years. Septic safe has worked well for me.

If you do a Search you'll fund hundreds of replies on the topic.
Use anything that's on the grocery shelf... or Costco ... or Sam's Club.
You definitely don't need TP specifically for RVs..... too thin and expensive.
With our former Class C, travel trailer, 5th wheel and motorhome we never bought RV TP. All we used was enough water to flush... don't skimp and dump when full; not half-full. If ready to dump and it's not full then fill with water. We didn't use chemicals. They're not in the tank long enough to do any good. Never had a problem in 40+ yr of RVing.

It doesn't matter what type of TP you use. It matters how much water you use.

+1.
We have used Charmin Ultra Soft for years with no issues.
Only related issue was when Costco was out of stock at the start of Covid-19 and we had to use another brand...unhappy wife for a few weeks.

What I have found interesting, both my last 2 female traveling companions actually PREFER Scotts rapid dissolving RV toilet paper (available at all the Walmarts I have visited) to almost all others.
Sure it's a bit pricier, but for how much gets used per year....big deal.
I can say that its use both on my liveaboard boat and well the last 2 RVs I have owned, that brand has never caused an issue and was well like by all users.
I know not everyone has the same needs.... but it's one option.

Charmin Ultra Soft works for us and our Macerator toilets. However "Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Flushables" got stuck in the toilet. Had to take it apart, ewwww.

Buy a roll of RV TP and a roll of 'septic safe' TP
Use the RV TP first...then wipe your finger off with the 'septic safe' TP
ANY product with RV in it's title/logo is for one purpose...relieve you of your RV Monies

We use Kirkland TP on the boat and in the RV. As previously stated, just use water!

Take a few sheets of any brand and put them in a glass of water. If they disolve in a few minutes, they're okay to use. Things like baby wipes will not disolve as shown by the cities that have problems with clogged sewer lines.

RV black tanks don't sit and stew a long time like a home residential septic tank does. I doubt the TP would matter all that much in a black tank. I prefer a 320 to 400 grit.
