The testing stations are private businesses and not directly state operated but have to be DMV-approved. The problem you run into with these test stations is that they are predominantly in urban areas and many are difficult to maneuver a larger vehicle.
I think he was asking if anybody had any recommendations on what particular business to use or to avoid in Milpitas.
But you're correct, there is a website. If he's a California resident, I'm thinking he probably knows how to look up the station locations on the DMV or BAR website. Or if not, lol, I'll link it here:

Alan_Hepburn: I think --I can't remember for sure, however-- that some friends of ours used Quality Tune Up at Serra Way and Abel. If it is the one they mentioned to us, they said it had easy access and plenty of room to get in and out.
