Shade restringing

Hi! I'm new and looking for anyone, whether experience in a trailer or motorhome, who knows about 3-string shades. Our Nu Wa 2006 fifth wheel has a 3-string dining table shade that needs to be restrung. Looking at this how-to online video, http://www.fixmyblinds.com/v/vspfiles/video-rv-restring.html, it refers to "cord retainers" at the bottom of the shade (at about 9 1/2 minutes into the video).

But our shades do not have cord retainers. Instead, they have pull strings on either side for lifting and lowering the shade. So, do we follow a different restringing procedure, or do we still follow this one? Maybe we follow this one but turned upsidedown (180 degrees)?
http://www.fixmyblinds.com/v/vspfiles/ins-rv-3string.html

Any suggestions from those who are experienced with restringing shades would be most welcome

Just a little confused here; are you trying to re-string , a day/night shade, or a regular venetian blind.
Somewhere , I have a different link to blind/ shade re-stringing . I'll dig it up and re-post.

You can try,
www.dirtyblindman.com

look under " FAQ - Help " I see instructions there for 3 string blinds.
Or, How hard is it to re-string - the truth.

Skip426, hi! I'm fixin' to restring a day/night shade. Hoping your link includes restringing of 3-string shades/blinds.

Well, I tried searching your phrase "3 string blinds" and "How hard is it to re-string - the truth" but I must be doing it wrong. These didn't turn up instructions for 3-string blinds, except for what is in fixmyblinds.com.

I think you are referring also to " FAQ - Help " on irv2, not dirtyblindman, right?

I , was referring to , FAQ on the Dirty blind man site. I'll re-check and see if I can be more precise .

OK, I really need to apologise , I thought the instructions were on site.
Turns out they're included on a C/D when you order a repair kit. Sorry about that. Sister-in-law , sent me the link and I'd never really looked closely at the web page. So , I'll blame her; as long as the DW doesn't find out, then they'll both be after me. Got to change my access code again.
The company is based in Texas, could be worth a phone call, particularly if you need the cord, for your re-string.
