We were in a CG in FL and the guy next to us decided to dump and leave. His hose broke and he just let all the sewage run on the ground between our units. We offered our help but he hollered "No" and then proceeded to dump the grey tank too.

I would have gladly let him use our hose to avoid the mess and clean up process that followed. He was gone and we were there. He left with raw sewage all over his pants, shirt, and shoes. Yuck!

Precisely!

I see them laying on the side of the road from time to time. When whoever lost it needs it, I hope they have the good sense to ask for help instead of dumping without one.

I know there are some uptight people in the world but your poo don’t smell any better or any worse than any body else’s. And your slinky doesn’t care who’s poo passes through it on it’s to it’s final destination.

We did that when three friends were traveling in Alaska.... a drive-through dump experience. One hose; three dumps. No big deal.

Probably, but would prefer not to, only because I don't get dressed up in a hazmat outfit to dump and don't wear gloves either, so while I am pretty immune from our bugs and happy to use some hand sanitiser afterwards and wash my hands inside, that would not be the case for someone else's bugs

No problem as long as it comes back clean.Watched someone dump once without a hose and directed the flow with his feet.Would rather let him use my hose than deal with dumping after him.

No problem here with lending or borrowing a sewer hose. I would advise not using our sewer hose to drink from though.
As a camp host, I have also observed some campers not using a sewer hose and just dumping their sewer onto the sewer dump station and hope it flows into the sewer drain. I get to hose it down afterwards, but I don't understand that smelly dump method?
Some people are pretty fast at dumping and other's are so,so slow. I'm sitting in my RV watching the line up at the dump station now on a Sunday morning.

I absolutely would!
Heck, I'd probably give them the cheap one they gave me when I bought my TT last year and use the spare I had to buy when Pammi didn't realize that she had me park too far away from the sewer connection last Veteran's Day!
She knows better now!
