Should Paul at ARP be a member?

I was talking with Paul yesterday and asked him why he is not an IRV2 member. He said that he had considered it but didn't want the folks on here thinking he was just trying to promote his product. As most of you know, Paul developed and sells the ARP refrigerator protection device that so many of us are using.

Paul is very knowledgeable in RV refrigeration systems and I think he would be a great source of help here. I think he would join if enough of our members indicate that we would like him to be a member. Please take the poll and make any comments here. Thanks!

We have Commercial Members here . Have him send a request via the “contact us “ link at the bottom of every page. You might want to ask him to read our rules especially the section that applies to Commercial Members to see if he can live with them.

Us folks using the app are awfully restricted. No classifieds either ;-)

Thanks Cliff! I'll do that. Is there any charge for being a Commercial Member?

Not everyone enjoys spending time on social media. Let him decide for himself how he wants to spend his time. It's not the same for vendors, either; when they don't have time to feed the beast people will complain that they're not responsive.

If he chooses not to be on here for whatever reason then we should respect his wishes.

I think Paul should continue to have people use the Contact Us form on his web site for current and prospective ARP owners to bring him issues and to ask questions.

Paul can join but people should not assume that he will start using threads on IRV2 for customer support. Not efficient.

I have heard good things about him, though I have never met him. So if he wants to join, I am all for it.

Whatever the person wants to do Didn't vote cause there is no 'let him decide' for himself category

I have the ARP installed on my RV. Paul was very helpful and in my opinion the ARP works well. I think he would be an asset to have here. It would make getting information from him easier. His website has tons of information but is difficult to navigate to find what is needed due to the way it's indexed/constructed. I found contacting him directly was way better.
