Shower Faucet Replacement
Hello
I am wondering if anybody has replaced this type of shower faucet with a single lever faucet.
If you have please tell me what you replaced it with.
I have been looking at different ones but am not sure what would work.
The picture shows what I have now.
I just want the single lever faucet.
Thank you!

Beware of what you seek!
I had an all metal single handle shower faucet in my Newmar. The difference between full cold and scalding hot was minuscule. I replaced it with one like you have now and the DW has been very happy ever since.

We hated the single lever one that came installed when the coach was new. Replaced it with the two handle one like your pic, huge improvement. Very easy to replace. Do yourself a favor, don't throw out the old one when you swap them out, I am betting you will want to change it back, soon.

Thankyou for the replies,I am definitely going to rethink this.
Seems like not a good idea from the start.

Some of the newer models of single levers do indeed seem to require a very delicate touch to adjust temperature without scalding. A new faucet in the bathroom of our stick house is like that, but the slightly older one in the kitchen is not. Nor are the kitchen, shower and bath single lever faucets in the motorhome.
I don't know any way to tell how it will work until it is installed.

Sounds familiar Gary
Gary the one in our house is perfect in the main bath, but the one in the onsuite is very delicate. Seems like it all depends what you get.
