I installed Toyo steer tires on my old 1999 Winnebago to replace bad Goodyears in 2012. Six years later they are still good and have NO SIDEWALL CRACKING and are not being covered by the new owner of my old rig. Just happens that my old Winnie is parked in the same storage lot as my Tiffin. I just looked at them before purchasing the Toyo tires for my Tiffin.
I just got done replacing my 10 year old Toyo 265/75R-22.5 (M124 on fronts and M154 on rears) with M154 all around. The old tires had no sidewall cracking and very faint cracks in the tread. The new ones took very little weight to balance and he didn't put any weights on the outside duels. They're running smooth. I paid about $280 each.

Take a look at the Yokohama RY103s, Bridgestone Ecopia, Toyo and Hankook truck tires. You may face the question of sizing, as some of these come in metric sizes and slightly different aspect ratios. A commercial tire dealer can check exact dimensions for you to insure full body clearance and to insure proper spacing between dual tires. I went from 255/80R-22.5 to 245/75-22.5 with no difficulty, as all dimensions were within a half centimeter of the OEM tire. And I ended up
with better load ratings at similar tire pressures to boot. I chose the Yokohama RY103 and am very pleased with my choice. I think they have the strongest, most durable steel belted case in this tire class and they run smooth and straight. Never heard of the kind of cracking issues we see with the Michelin XRV.

Good luck!

After having a three year old Michelin steer tire blow out I replace all 6 with Toyo. Very pleased much cheaper and better ride.

I to had all six of mine crack at about 4 years old. I went back to Michelin and they paid for half of the replacement cost. Maybe give it a try with them and see what happens.

OH by the way. I noticed that one of the new tires (1 1/2 years old) is starting to crack so here I go again with Michelin wanting a replacement at no cost this time.

I had a problem with Michelins weather checking several years ago and haven't put them on an RV since. My present rig came with Sumitomo and they seem to work fine, though not enough time has passed to know how they will hold up.
