Siding Repair

I ran into a rock on the corner behind passenger door of my Class C. What material can I use to fill in the crinkle, then smooth it out, maybe paint it afterwards?

Without knowing what body part, the suggestions could be all over the place. Is it the rig's body or a compartment door? What year is the rig, if a compartment door, would it be easier to replace?
So can you add a pic?
