I'd surely dispute the charges. What are these people thinking?? Sounds like they really would like you to come back. I suspect we'll see more and more of this as time goes by.

If the RV parks and campgrounds get away with this, they will set a precedence for others to follow. Soon, that will become the norm. Nip it in the bud today.

I too was surprised to see a full week's stay charged to my account in advance. I didn't notice the full payment charge until it was too late to make changes to my plans. I was very upset the park did not inform me of this charge method in advance.

Don't let them get by with it. Protest loudly. They are testing the RV'er market for ways to force a longer stay.

Whatever happened to hospitality? Kindness? Customer care? Looks like some RV parks are going the way as other business. Get the fast buck today.. Don't care for reviews and repeats. Just get all you can out'em today. Soak'em...

Maybe the government will make all RV parks visits free!!!!

That would stimulate the RV business

What the parks don't realize is they will get your money... once.

How does this practice force a longer stay?

Does that not make it easier to just stay than to find a better cg if you do not care for their cg?

I don't mind paying the bill in advance, but do not like the no refund policy. No one knows when an emergancy will come up. Maybe keep the first night and refund the balance.

That was my thought.. If you must pay in full for several days in advance with no refund, then you will be forced to stay or forfeit.

Is this a sign of the economy? If so, I bet I'm not the only one balking at this.
I think it's called "greed" and I will start checking when I make reservations.
