Slide lube again

Even after reading years of good posts here, I had to learn the hard way... Our 2016 slides started moving Very slow... After some research,,, thinking my new battery was bad, (not) etc,,, I went back to this "supposable" dry lube... It has totally gummed up everything... Very sticky, builds up... Junk.... Again this is my opinion,,, just trying to save someone else the hassle.... By the way, thought I was doing good,, I sprayed it on all slide mech and gears.... grrrrrrr

Sorry about the sideways pic... tired....

I use a 'dry graphite spray'

I wire brush the rail teeth and then spray them with the graphite.
Same with the front landing gear inner leg.

Goes on WET then drys and stays out

I use old newspaper to prevent over-spray onto underside of slideout

For the hydraulic cylinder piston rod.........
Wipe it down with a cloth to remove any dirt/grit then wipe again with clean cloth sprayed with silicone lube

Slide out seals........
Wipe them down with an old sock filled with baby powder.

Today (first time) I wiped the rubber slide seals with baby powder... I have the other slide to clean this junk off... Even though our slides are electric,,, one was almost stopping before retracting... I read Many posts here before finding this sticky junk... Thanks !!!
