I can’t imagine owning any RV without slides. I like to be able to walk by someone without hitting them.

If you are worried about selling an RV before you buy it, then don't buy one at all. Wait until you are ready to buy one and keep it for good.

My current class C has a slide. I never use it unless it is at home and company are staying in it.

On the road it is functional with the slide in and that is how I use it.
