Slide out enigma

Things just need to make sense to me before I accept them. Does this make sense to you? Our 2017 winnebago Vista LX 30t has a slide out on driver and passenger side. I press for passenger slide to move out but only one corner moved the other didn't. I stopped immediately and tried to bring it back in. Nothing happened. It was only out about 6". So I proceeded to the driver's side and the same thing happened except it was the opposite corner. I took it to our RV repair shop. This is when it didn't make sense. After doing all their checks and balances they said drivers side was the wiring harness BUT the passengers slide the control unit was bad. How can there be 2 different solutions with the problems happening on the same day at the same time. I hope how I'm wording this makes sense. I'm just baffled. Why wasn't it the same on each side?

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Not knowing anything about your rig I can't make suggestions on that. It does seem strange that both sides did the same thing on the same day!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
