Start with slide out roof inspection. The roof membrane should be free of holes, tears and debris. Do an internet search on rv slide out roof maintenance. If it has holes or tears, look for articles and videos on membrane repair, sealing and replacement.

It could depend on the coating. I have helped a couple of friends do the roll-on roofing, and we did the slide-outs on their rigs.
We are getting the spray-on roof done in October, I did not ask about putting that on the slide-out. But I will give them a call and see if they recommend it on the slide-outs.

Slide out roofs are pretty simple but need the same care as the main roof, i.e. inspection to check for physical damage (cuts) and the condition of the caulk (lap sealant) around the edge seams. It's easy enough to replace, but with some care the original should last 20-30 years. And it can be re-coated too. Most are simple rolled sheets (EPDM or TPO) but some may be filon sheeting.

RV Roof Magic is one of the popular coating brands and as good as any. You didn't say why you think your slide roof needs any sort of coating, so we have no idea whether it's a good solution or not. As long as your slide roof covering isn't PVC or silicone, it should go on and stay on just fine.

RV Roof Magic is also one of the sponsors here on iRV2 and they have been recommended by many.

Last weekend here in Louisiana we had a lot of rain and we were at a camp ground well low and behold I had two leaks on the slide one at a window that I took care of with some of that quick seal tape the other was where the flange of the slide on the inside went up next to the internal wall dripping from the roof of the slide where the flange is connected to the roof of the slide I could not see how that was possible unless the EPDM rubber was ripped but it had no issues the next day my self and my nephew looked at it and seen nothing so very puzzle thats why I was just going to coat the whole roof and be done.

It’s just me, but I see no reason to coat the slide top. In my opinion, which isn’t worth much, the slide top should be as slick as the sides of the slide. Caulk all joints and wax the top. Now the top may need to be redone if it got damaged.
