Slide weatherstripping

I remember reading that some owners had put some type of tape vertically on their slides to cause the weatherstripping to flip outward as the slide extends but can't find where I read it or what type of tape was used.

Anyone?

Soft small bulb seal about 10" long 1/3 and 2/3 of the height of the slide. Use white or dark to match your slide.

I had to look up bulb seals, wasn't familiar with that.
