Snow start to camping season

It's a slow start to the season. Just when we think we might take a weekend trip the weather trips us up. 5 inches of snow on the 20th of April.

88 degrees here today. Started using air conditioner in March. Having to cut grass every other week. Now in another month or so, we will be in the high 90's with 100 percent humidity. Thats when I'm ready to move to a cooler climate and we start traveling North, West or any place with mild temps.

Hang in there it can't be too long now.

Went camping in local state campground; 90 degrees, and misquotes as big as birds.
Two misquotes sitting on a tree limb eyeballing me:
One says to the other;should we eat him here or take him home/
Other says; eat him here, if we take him home the big guys will take him from us.
Welcome to Florida summer is here.

I definitely feel your pain. I'm only about 30 minutes from you. I think we got about 8" here. Of course that was not counting the flurries we had the next morning. I'm just glad it didn't stick around, although 41 degrees and windy is not exactly convertible weather either.

We were lucky, the 2" we got overnight melted off by this afternoon. But it looks like spring may finally be making an appearance. High 50's tomorrow with sun.
