Sold the Motorhome Monday

Well its gone, guess we will be staying home at least for a while. My wife's health has been failing and we only made one weekend trip in the last 18 months. We both will miss it.
I posted it for sale here, on RV Forum and my local online yard sale. The yard sale site asked if I wanted it posted on multiple sites and I said yes. This was on Saturday. By Sunday I had about 20 inquirers, Monday I had a buyer bring Cash money and buy the motorhome.
Boy was I surprised. I watched it roll out of my driveway with a tear in one eye, but I know it was the right thing to do. No reason to have it sitting around if it was not going to be used.

It is always bittersweet. You wanted a sale and got it, but now you're RV-less. You can always get another....

Jerry, so sorry that you felt it necessary to sell the MH! Hopefully the wife's health will improve and you can get back on the road soon!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Sorry to hear about Patsy's health issues. Hopefully things will improve. I'm sure it tugged at the heart to see the Winnie go but now's a new chapter in your life. And, as Joe posted, you can always get another RV when things turn around. Best wishes.

We all know that at some point you just can't RV anymore, but hopefully you find other things to replace it.

With the stress of your wife's illness you certainly didn't need the added stress of keeping the motorhome unused. You did the right thing. Better times to both of you!
