It may prove to be an old age affliction, but I think it's youth making the same mistakes over and over with each generation. Except that each mistake is pertinent to whatever generation happens to be at bat at the time. LOL

I was born in 1950 raised in a religous house and school till high school because my parents could not afford tuition after finally building a family with seven kids on their on. Don't get me wrong not a single one of the nine peple in this family are angels or saints. I have tried to express to my (3) children to be nice with some good results and thier no angels either. Another believe I have and shared was that you do not hate the person you hate what the person did. Which you don't know why, just like there are times we are not sure why we did some things. Being in a customer service job beliefing that helped alot. I don't attend any church etc. anymore but still remember and live to give. In my job I met daily with angry or ? people. But when faced with that situation I told myself that just because they were having a bad day does not mean I have to. Then I would try to make are meeting to be a good meeting for them. It didn't always work but sometimes I did not meet that upset person after awhile. To be honest sometimes on my bad days I took pleasure in paying back. So if you read this I was a bad boy my Mom would say.

Yeah I hear ya Linda.
Just to clarify FWIW, I said "age old" not "old age" affliction.
You supported my point by saying we keep repeating the same mistakes.
Common sense is a real gift, not all possess it equally, that's for sure.
