Stain on ceiling of Dutch Star.

I was having a restful evening in my 2001 Newmar Dutch Star...
My better half said "What is that stain around the vent"???
It is dry & may have come from the AC, will check that later...

My question is what do I use to remove the stain?_____
Would Dawn be the way or does anyone have experience doing this?
I have the fabric ceiling...
Thanks in advance.

I would try some hydrogen peroxide in a small spot and then let it dry to see the result. Hydrogen peroxide will whiten fabrics and carpets stains.

Disclaimer: I am not a professional at stain removal, but I stayed in a holiday inn express- lol

Folex stain remover has been reported to work these stains as well as blot with bleach water or oxyclean. Sure looks like water stain . Water could follow the duct hose or maybe it was sweating/condensing on duct.

x2 on Folex.

Had multiple stains on the fabric ceiling of a houseboat. Spray it until it is wet with Folex, then use a wet vacuum on it.

You can get Folex at Home Depot

Had a fabric ceiling on our last coach that had a water stain by the bath skylight.
I used this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00069QMT8...v_ov_lig_dp_it
and it did what i needed. Trick is not to soak as stain will re appear, lightly dampen and dab dry.

Ordered a Seal Kit...
Leak comes from a hard rain & not running the AC...
I don't have the cowling on the ceiling so need to pull AC to be able to install the new seal...
Any hints would be helpful...
I am afraid of damaging the roof membrane if I tilt the AC on its side to install the seal... Guess I could roll it on a thick rug though..

Gasket is a 14" by 14" inside, but will give Newmar a call...
Thanks,
Bob
