Start up items--savings

We just purchased our start of essentials for traveling. There was about $100 savings between purchasing at Walmart -vs- Amazon (prime). Amazon won out. I just wanted to share the savings info... we now have 2 nites in an RV park budget. *** Girl math = save somewhere to spend elsewhere **

Amazon is just too easy - easy to shop from home, quick delivery, and no cost for shipping if you have prime.

We are doing the same thing for our new (to us) coach. I plan to spread out the Amazon orders over the next couple of months while the RV is in storage to help the wallet shock. Its impressive (maybe depressing?) how much additional you need to invest after purchasing the RV just to get it stocked and ready for camping. I wish I could have ordered my tow dolly through Amazon!

We have a Flex, due to its shape we could not do a dolly. So the cost of setting up the flat tow- UGH.

I figure buy quality products will pay off in the end. We are also raiding the house for lots of everyday essentials.
