Staying in Gaffney
I have an upcoming appointment at Gaffney and when I asked about staying at the Freightliner site the guy said "You just come in, go around back, and find an open space." I looked on Google Maps and the place looks pretty large and certainly could not tell where you can stay overnight.
Can anyone shed some light on this and give me an idea of exactly where in the Freightliner complex he is referring?

I would describe it as on the right side of the building as you are looking at the front. Just drive past the building and it be easy to see the spaces.

I was looking at a map of the main Freightliner factor that is north of I85. I looked at the RV service center and see it is located just north of I85 in a much smaller area. I see the parking area now that I finally have the right address.

Make sure you are looking at the FCCC Factory Service Center located at 103 Campus Drive, Gaffney, SC. The factory itself is huge, but the service center is much smaller. It is basically a dirt parking lot on the right side and rear of the building.

I am now, I think that is what prompted my question. The Campus Drive facility looks much more manageable. My question was prompted because I was looking at the main factory area.
Sorry to waste your time and other posters, I should have done a little more research before asking the question.

There are first-come first-served spaces with electric only hook-ups - they will save your space the day of your service. There's also a dump and FW source.
If by chance there's no space (haven't seen that in 5 years) you can boondocks for the night.

Thanks for the information. We plan on showing up the day prior, probably mid afternoon and get settled in.

The last time I went there, the camping area was full, and they had no spaces available. After talking with the ladies in the office, they found out there were some coaches there for service that people had dropped off, but weren't staying in. They moved a couple of those out of the way, and cleared up space for us and another fellow that had service scheduled the next morning.
