Stolen Catalytic Converter

Well, here's a good one. About 3 weeks ago the catalytic converter on our motorhome was stolen. The exhaust line was sawed off to get the converter. Must have used a portable power saw. This happened in a fenced and gated storage lot. Sheriff's Dept. said this is a growing problem throughout Florida. The metals in the converter are worth money and prompting the robberies. $1,600 later the rig is ready and we are now in another lot with cameras, better lighting and barbed wire fencing. Still no guarantee, but a bit safer. Can''t say any rig is entirely secure. Just an information post.

We should not have to pay insurance to support crooks. These thieves are becoming more common.
