Suburban Duramax Conversions

Hi all,

Does anyone have, or know someone who has, a Suburban that has the Duramax conversion? Duramax Suburbans Suburban Home Page I would be interested in any feedback.

The problem with a conversion is that you'd have to scrap a very good truck and good 3/4 ton diesel pickups pull outrageous prices.

The effort and monies spent would simply not be worth the return.

Just getting a diesel pickup engine rebuilt and/or updated can easily go over $10K alone. Any diesel modifications or maintenance is just so expensive.
