It was reported on local TV that a thunderstorm, Tuesday afternoon, in Myrtle Beach had a lightning strike by one of the campgrounds.
Reported that 30 campers received electrical damage.
This is a reminder to always use surge protectors, they might help with a direct strike, and to unplugif you see or hear a storm approaching.

Try the site listed above for a story on lightning.
