(Tech Tip) GFCI will not reset, 110vac circuit out
Recently I had a GFCI ("ground fault circuit interrupt)" trip and would not reset or test. I pulled the breaker from the outlet and checked it with a VOM meter. No 110vac anywhere.... Breaker panel was not tripped. Other GFI circuits were fine. Refrig outside light, water and ice were dead. Many devices were dead.
The problem was due to a tripped 100vac circuit on the Inverter. On the outside of the inverter (Don't know model) and hidden from view are two white push button resets. One was out.. I pushed it in and: Wah-lah
