How about insurance; there is nothing in my policy that says I have to have this license. Just wondering if I have to kill a couple days getting this done or just wing it.
You do not need a CDL. In Texas you get an Exempt Class B. You are not commercial. In Texas you are supposed to have proper license to operate a vehicle over 26000#.
As to do you need it? Does your insurance require you to be properly licensed your vehicle to be covered?
Not hard to get properly licensed. Why take the risk? We do have a friend that was stopped for something else and received a ticket for no driver license.
